The Orthopaedic Research Institute, Inc., is located in the St. Francis Campus of Via Christi Regional Medical Center in Wichita, KS. Via Christi Regional Medical Center is the largest medical center complex in the state of Kansas serving a patient population of over a million. The Institute is equipped with:

- Cadaver preparation/mock surgery capabilities
- Materials specimen preparation facilities
- Mechanical device/prototype testing capabilities
- Small machine shop equipped with laboratory equipment
- Leading commercial FEM and CAD software
- 2,100 sq. ft. of laboratory floor space
- 1,200 sq. ft. of office floor space
- Access to a complete and fully staffed medical library
- Variety if computing systems
- Stryker Surgical Navigation System for Hip and Knee Replacement which guides accurate cuts within a fraction of a degree and provides real time visualization of varus/valgus, internal/external rotation, flexion/extension. It evaluates functional performance of the components, ensures accurate implant positioning, and records patient data and results

Handheld Relative Humidity Meter and RH/Temperature Meter - Capable measure temperature and humidity at the same time - Measure 5 - 95% relative humidity - Measure 32 - 175 °F (0 - 80 °C)
Biocompatibility Laboratory:
- Located at Campus of Wichita State University, KS
- With access to Animal Research Facilities, molecular and immunological testing, tissue culture and microscopy
- General biocompatibility testing utilizing the in vivo murine air pouch model
- Orthopaedic materials biocompatibility testing using rodent bone implantation techniques
- Targeting gene activation profiles using real-time PCR and immunohistochemisty
- Cellular and serological responses to biomaterials
- Patient material sensitivity testing for sensitivity to common orthopaedic biomaterials
- Development of anti-arthritic drugs and biological response modifiers using murine models of rheumatoid arthritis and lupus
- Development of anti-cancer therapeutics using models of sarcoma and skin cancer
